This is our very own 911 Communication Center Manager Laura Carson providing support for the Police Unity Tour, Chapter VIII 2025 event. Laura has been involved with this event for almost 10 years. This is Laura’s 9th year of involvement, and the MCVRS has participated for the past 3 years! They start on May 8, 2026, in Norfolk, VA, and will end in Washington, D.C., on Friday, May 14, 2026. 

This all began in 1997 from an idea a New Jersey Police Officer had to raise awareness about law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. In May 2022, the Police Unity Tour was proud to donate $2.0 million to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, bringing our total donations to more than $33 million since its inception.
