Mathews Department of Social Services will be accepting applications for Medicaid Expansion (Medical Coverage for Adults) starting on November 1, 2018. If the application is approved, medical coverage will not begin until January 1, 2019.
To make application, apply online or to apply over the phone, contact CoverVa at 855-242-8282. Applications may also be picked up at Mathews Department of Social Services (536 Church Street).
Eligibility
Eligibility includes:
- Virginia residents, ages 19 to 64
- Not already in or eligible for Medicare
- Must meet income requirements, which may vary by household size.
