2023 Day & Overnight Camps

The Extension Office is planning several exciting Day Camps within the County, and one overnight camp (Monday through Friday) has been scheduled at the Jamestown 4-H Center. Please see details for these fun-filled activities:

4-H Cloverbud Day Camp

4H Cloverbud Camp for Ages 5-8 and Teen Counselors 14-18

Date: June 12-16

Time: 9:00am 4:00pm

Ages 5-8 Teen Counselors 14-18

Cost $50 for 5 days of fun! Space themed projects, Bay School visits, games, and more!

Campers will bring bagged lunches. Snack & drink provided.

4-H Marine Science Day Camp

4H Marine Science Camp for Ages 9-13 and Teen Counselors 14-18

Date: August 8-9

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm

Ages 9-13 Teen Counselors 14-18

Cost $50 for two days of fun! Learn about life in the Bay, conservation, and get to spend some time by the water!

Campers will bring bagged lunches. Snack & drink provided.

4-H Junior Camp

4H Junior Camp for Ages 9-13 Teen Counselors 14-18

Date: July 10-14

Time: Overnight camp

Ages 9-13 Teen Counselors 14-18

Monday-Friday overnight camp at Jamestown 4-H Center.

Cost is $275 and covers transportation, meals, lodging, camp T-shirt, and activities for the week. Bus will pick up from Mathews on Monday and return Friday from Jamestown 4H Center. Call or email for more information.

4-H Archery Camp

4-H Archery Camp for Ages 9-13 Teen Counselors 14-18

Date: July 25-26

Time: 9:00am-4:00pm

Ages 9-13 Teen Counselors 14-18

Cost $50 for two days of fun!

Introduction to archery basics. Youth will learn marksmanship, responsibility, safety, first shot fundamentals, and more.

Campers will bring bagged lunches. Snack & drink provided.
