Police Unity Tour

This is our very own 911 Communication Center Manager Christian Collier and Dispatcher Laura Carson providing support for the Police Unity Tour, Chapter VIII 2023 event. Christian has been involved with this event for 13 years and now serves as the First Vice President for the Executive Board. This is Laura’s 8th year of involvement and the MCVRS has participated for the past 2 years! They started today (May 10th, 2023) in Norfolk, VA and will end in Washington D.C. on Friday, May 12th, 2023. 

This all began in 1997 from an idea a New Jersey Police Officer had to raise awareness about law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty. In May 2022, the Police Unity Tour was proud to donate $2.0 million to the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund, bringing our total donations to more than $33 million since its inception.
