November 2, 2021 Election Referendum Language

On behalf of the Board of Supervisors and County staff, I [the County Attorney, Andrea G. Erard,] would like to respond to concerns that were raised at the last [February 25, 2020] Board meeting.

Looking Toward the Future & Goals

Going forward, the Mathews County website will be updated regularly with information from County staff and members of the Board of Supervisors. Our goal is to be transparent and provide complete and accurate information to the citizens of Mathews County. The County website can be accessed via computer at the Mathews Library. 

Citizens may also contact the Deputy Clerk/Communications Manager, Caroline Oxley, at 804-725-7172 to obtain paper copies of information; costs may apply pursuant to the Virginia Freedom of Information Act.
